Coaching that Builds Leaders Who Are Ready To Lead From a Place of Inner Peace instead of Stress and Overwhelm
Are you tired of the constant barrage of stress and overwhelm in your role as a nonprofit leader? You started this work with good intentions, but lately the work has been seeping into every nook and cranny of your life, and you’re tired of it.
This isn’t the way we change the world.
I believe inner peace has the power to radiate outwards and that's why we have to lead from a space of inner peace. Our presence affects those around us so how we show up matters.
Hi, I'm Shalini,
My passion for social change work was sparked after a fateful nonprofit internship in 2000. Since then, I’ve served in multiple roles, including conducting community outreach, advocating for survivors of violence, writing government grants, and serving as an executive director twice. I understand that working in advocacy and social justice is stressful work that is often physically, spiritually, and emotionally draining even as it can be meaningful and fulfilling.
As leaders in the nonprofit space, we’re coming up with creative solutions to world problems. But if we’re in a state of stress, then it’s harder to tap into our creativity because we’re just trying to keep the lights on or get the next fundraising campaign out.
Eight years ago, I changed course in how I showed up to the work. I learned the importance of creating spaces of support, healing, and joy - crucial for both staff and stakeholders. If we show up fully aligned with our values and are able to voice our needs, then we together can strengthen our families, organizations, and communities and create the just world we envision.
How Can I Serve You?
